The Western Pantheon, sometimes also referred to as Marduk's clan [1], is one of the four original Pantheons of gods. They draw on the real-world mythology of ancient Mesopotamian religion.
The color of their quiddity, or essence, is red.
Gods of the Pantheon[]
To date, the following gods have been portrayed or mentioned:
- Marduk
- Tiamat
- Nergal
- Ereshkagal
- Ishtar
- Adad
- a winged god, possibly Ninurta[1]
Relation to the Elven Gods[]
The elves worship their own gods in addition to certain western gods (since their homeland is in the west), with the elven gods acting as more like elf-specific associates rather than as a replacement pantheon.[2] The elven gods most likely share the Western gods' red quiddity, as a result.
Trivia[]
- Due to the gods comprising the pantheon, they are also known as the Babylonian Pantheon out-of-universe.
