Myrtok was a friend and adventuring companion of Eugene Greenhilt on his aborted quest to destroy Xykon along with Juta the Barbarian and Keeno the Rogue. Eugene told his eldest son that he met him on a bowling team.[1] He was considered to be an honorary uncle of Roy, Eric and Julia Greenhilt, and once bought Eric a piano toy.[2]
