Church of Thor
On the Origin of PCsEdit
When the Dwarven High Priest of Odin received a prophecy that the next time the young Cleric Durkon Thundershield returned home, he would bring destruction to the Dwarven Lands, Hurak sent Durkon on a Quest to liaise with the Human lands, instructing him not to return until he sends for him (which he had no intention of doing).
Hurak passed away 3 years ago.
His replacement received Durkon's letter to Hurak from Azure City. She could not find any details of his mission in Hurak's notes and in his letter, and sent a reply allowing him to return. But Miko Miyazaki who carried the message was captured by Xykon and the letter was eaten by the Monster In The Darkness,, so Durkon never learned the news of the end of his exile. When the Order of the Stick arrived at Firmament and mentioned that the vampire attacking the dwarves was Durkon, Firuk Blackore, the only person Hiruk had told the true reason for banishing Durkon, cursed him as his foolish decision had doomed them all.
