The High Priest of Heimdall is a human male cleric who is the formal head of the Church of Heimdall.
The High Priest was present at the Northern Godsmoot to represent his god. He cast Summon Proxy during the opening statements, summoning a giant image of Heimdall who argued for the destruction of the world in order to prevent the Snarl from being released.[1] During voting the High Priest was overtaken by the spirit of Heimdall, who spoke through him to vote to destroy the world, reasoning that the cautious choice was the responsible choice.
Despite his god voting "yes" and presenting the argument for the destruction of the world, he did not intervene on either side during the battle between Roy and the Creed of the Stone vampires.
He remains sequestered in the Great Nave awaiting the conclusion of the Godsmoot when Dwalin casts his vote.
