The High Priest of Freyr is a dwarven male cleric who is the formal head of the Church of Freyr.
The High Priest was present at the Northern Godsmoot to represent his god. After he cast Summon Proxy and was overtaken by the spirit of Freyr, Freyr spoke through him to voted to save the world from destruction, reasoning that no profit is made without risk.
He is the first to notice that something is amiss behind the scenes, when the High Priest of Balder does not return quickly with the High Priests of the demigods.[1]
The High Priest of Freyr, being a dwarf, was also well aware of the implications of a deadlocked Godsmoot, requiring a vote from Dvalin. He pointed out that the last time a Council of Clans was called, it took two days for them to assemble.[2]
He did not intervene on either side during the battle between Roy and the Creed of the Stone vampires.
He remains sequestered in the Great Nave awaiting the conclusion of the Godsmoot when Dwalin casts his vote.
