Belkar: Hey, you know, Durkon’s got the right idea… this “getting carried” thing is a breeze!
Haley: Damn it! We do NOT have time for this! How many are chasing us?

Belkar: Uhhh… 21. No, wait, 22. That one guy was blocked by the pile of human corpses.
Belkar: Heh heh, human corpses.

Haley: OK, wait here… I’ll just be a moment.
Belkar: Huh? Where are you going?

Haley turns and fires an arrow, "fft!", killing a hobgoblin.

She fires three more, "fft! fft! fft!", each taking out a hobgoblin.

A hobgoblin strikes her with his longsword.
- Panel 7, Page 1
Haley gets up on a boulder and puts an arrow into him, "fft!"
- Panel 8, Page 1
Haley does a front flip off the boulder over three hobgoblins.

She turns and hits them all in the back, "fft! fft! fft!", killing them.

Another hobgoblin strikes her from behind with his longsword.

Haley runs and fires behind her "fft!", taking out another.

"fft! fft! fft!" three more drop as she looses arrows from a fallen piece of the Azure City wall.

She kills two more from the fallen piece of the battlements, "fft! fft!" while other hobgoblins move around to flank her.

The hobgoblins destabilize the crenelated wall fragment she stands on causing her to lose her balance.

Hobgoblins advance on a supine Haley.
- Panel 4, Page 2
Ten hobgoblins close in on her.

Haley shoots an arrow up in the air, "twang!"
- Panel 6, Page 2
It hits a precariously perched section of a fallen tower, "dink!"
- Panel 7, Page 2
The tower section falls on the hobgoblins, killing nine of them, "CRUNCH!!"

The last hobgoblin stands mouth agape at the destruction.
- Panel 9, Page 2
Haley executes him from behind with an arrow at point blank range.

Haley returns to Belkar
Haley: All ready!

Belkar: You know, this is where I normally make an offensive—possibly sexist—remark…
Belkar: …but that was just too awesome to ruin with words.
Haley: Gee, if I’d known that shooting hobgoblins would render you speechless, I would have saved that last one for later.
