D&D Context[]

  • A Girdle of Femininity/Masculinity is a cursed magic item which changes the gender of the wearer to the opposite gender. Being cursed, it cannot be removed (and the gender restored) without a Remove Curse spell.

Trivia[]

  • Title may be a play on the movie title I Am Curious (Yellow). Its main character is named Lena.
  • The Girdle of Femininity/Masculinity is probably a reference to Baldur's Gate, where such a belt is also used by an ogre.
  • Later, in #234, when Roy has to use the belt and asks why Elan would take it, Elan mentions that he "was curious".
  • This is the final appearance of the Female Ogre.
