Haleys Self-Loathing: Hey, look at you, Miss Big Shot, covering her fearless leader. Hope you don't need to, like shout a warning or anything to him.

Panel 3

Elan: I spy with my little eye something that begins with the letter "I".
Belkar: "Idiot"? "Imbecile"? Maybe "Ignoramus"?
Belkar: Oh, I know, how about, "Incapable of Shutting Up Already and Letting Me Watch Roy Get His Ass Kicked"?

Nale: Ahhh... Greenhilt has arrived. All of my pawns are in place. The game begins at last.

Panel 6

Expands to show Nale and Thog
Thog: game? what game? thog likes games! barrel of monkeys? or chutes and ladders?
Nale: Uh, no, Thog, it's—

Panel 7

Thog: ooo! or candy land?? thog loves candy land!
Nale: No, Thog! It's just an expression. We're NOT playing "Candy Land".

Panel 8

Thog: *sigh* Thog fears he will never again know the majesty of the gumdrop mountains.
Nale: Can I get through just ONE foreboding monologue without the half-orc upstaging me? Geez!

Trivia Edit

  • Durkon's running gag of dendrophobia (fear of trees) is used again in the first panel.
  • This is the first appearance of Leeky's trees, though they have yet to be awakened.
  • Thog says his name with a capital letter in the last panel, something that he, and most other orcs, never do. This is likely just a mistake. Thog still refers to himself in third person, though.
    • Thog is the only half-orc to speak with the grammatical errors of true orcs.
