Roy: I'm not in the mood and I can't really remember the rules.

Haley waves her arms.

Roy: What's that, Lassie? Timmy's trapped in a well?

Roy: Sigh. Ok. So, you're pointing...
Roy: At the moron with the cat.

Roy: And now you're pointing at your hair. Shojo's hair? No, your head? Shojo's head? Shojo's liver spots? Shojo's brain?

  • Bull Rush is a combat maneuver that pushes the target physically.
  • Expeditious Retreat is a 1st-level Wizard spell that increases the caster's speed by 30 ft.
  • Some creatures, most famously the Medusa, have a Gaze Attack.
  • Age Categories for playable races start at Adulthood and move into Middle Age, Old, and Venerable.

Trivia[]

  • In the fourth panel Roy references the 1954 TV series Lassie in which Lassie would often communicate complex ideas to Timmy's parents through a simple bark. Yukyuk will use the same reference in #792.
  • Encephalitis is an inflammation of the brain. There are many causes, including viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infection, as well as autoimmune disease. There are no known gaze-induced causes of encephalitis.
  • The title and Haley's method of communication are techniques in the game of Charades.
