D&D Context[]
- Frostbite is a 5th level spell, a specialty of the disciples of Thrym, which creates a layer of frost on several targets, dealing 6d6 damage and 2d6 points of Dexterity damage. Frostbite is not in the SRD. It was released in the 2004 Frostburn supplement for D&D 3.5.
- Blade Barrier is a 6th level spell which creates a vertical curtain of spinning blades which deal 1d6/level damage to anyone or anything passing through it.
- V was able to counter the spell using the Improved Counterspell feat, which allows V to counterspell the spell without having the same spell available to him or her. V need only cast any spell one or more levels higher than the spell being cast in order to counter it.
Trivia[]
- V did the "I feel bad about things so I'm letting myself get killed" thing in #866.
